Summer Camp has always been a large focus of CJ's career. Carol, known in the camping industry as CJ, has served as Public Relations Chair for the Virginias Section American Camp Association and has been in camping for over 30 years including developing and managing 3 different riding camp programs. Before starting her design company, Carol served as marketing director for one of the largest camps in Virginia and has photographed and produced marketing materials for camps across the United States. Her camp aged children enjoy the many benefits camp has to offer.

Services include photography, video, web and multimedia projects, brochures, marketing materials, and writing. When a camp utilizes any or all of the services available, money and time can be saved by not having to outsource phases of the design process.
Photography: As a photographer as well as a print and web designer, CJ understands the importance of obtaining good images for the overall success of a project and those to come. When Carol is in the field, she is already designing as she looks for images which will draw and captivate the reader into the picture. After a shoot, you may expect to be able to archive for use in brochures, photo albums, slide shows, and video as she shoots with professional film for high resolution scanning. They can be burned onto CD's in jpeg formats for your ease of use in newsletters and the web.
Marketing material design: The design process evolves by working one on one, getting to know your camp's needs, philosophies, and personality. A series of communication before the shoots will help insure the success of the shoot and marketing materials to come. Of course, you are welcomed to supply your own images if you prefer.
Having a talent for organizing and understanding what is needed to convey the camping messages, she can help you write your projects.
Having over 10 years experience in print design, Carol understands the complexities of the process, from design and paper selection, to the finished piece and brings you, the client, into the process to make each project a marketing piece to call your own and compliments this with a coordinated web site.
Portfolio: Carol has photographed for riding camps, residential and day camps, , golf camps, sports camps, University of Virginia, and organizations such as Big Brothers Big Sisters, Girl Scout Councils, the American Camp Association and many more. You may view more projects in Portfolio.
Consulting: Carol has over 25 years experience in marketing and public relations. A fresh new approach to marketing or image recognition may be just what you need to give your camp a new look.
Please feel free to call or write to discuss your marketing needs.
